But I really don't care. If you know the language Hakka, you will find out I can speak it fluently too. I'm not ashamed of being able to speak this language because without it, I won't be able to communicate with my granny. I am proud o have Hakka origins. Fav/rate and give it some love guys ^_^

i was talking to my pakistani friend who has realitives in toronto canada and she kept mentioning the hakka syle of food like a mix of sort of indian and chinese... is the language related? is it like a seperate culture? just curious... if i am wrong i don't mean to offend.

I speak Cantonese and I'm really proud of it. Being able to communicate effectively in areas of New York and with my family is important to me. I know that Taishanese is really odd to hear and sounds kind of like a hill billyish, I'm really happy to know it because a good bit of my family lives in Taishan

Hey bubz!! I've been a follower for awhile, this is my first time commenting.

My family has hakka roots too!! That's so cool that you can speak it fluently! I can only understand it, cant speak it.

My mom is taiwanese, and my grandma speaks hakka, so my grandma (r.i.p) spoke either hakka or limited mandarine to me when i visit.

My dad is chinese-malaysian. and his family speaks another type of hakka (slightly diff. from my mom) and cantonese as well.
